Though I have been doing the bulk of the work on the new place, Sandy has been doing more than a fair share altogether. She keeps the apartment together, feeds us, and then comes down to the site and works there, too!
One day she's moving earth up above the building ...
The next day she's sanding rafters that didn't get cleaned before they were put up ...
Where will she be found next?

Finally another set of photos and narrative. I'm so glad to know the rafters are done. I know it was hard for both of you, considering the enormity of the job and the intensely oppressive summer. Just designing and building this is difficult,without the added burden of keeping house and making nutritious meals. Bravo to both of you.
